Hi there! I'm Jen!

Hiking is therapy, playtime, adventure, and a workout all built into one and why it's my favourite way to move!

Our busy lives as employees, friends, spouses, caregivers, and parents make finding peace and clarity often hard to do. Enter, Hiking. In the mountains, there is no sound pollution. There are no deadlines, no judgments (of self or others), and no easy short cuts. Just energizing peace and calming quiet.

Through hiking I’ve realized the strength it takes climb a mountain, the openness and kindness it takes to make new friends, and the courage it takes to not only pee in the woods in the dark, but to also follow a path sometimes less travelled, in nature and in life.

I've lead 15 hikes since November 2015 on the North Shore, in Squamish, and on the Sunshine Coast. My favourite part of the hikes I have lead so far is the connections that have been made between hikers. My hikers have gotten jobs, made new friends, and even moved to new apartments.

I'm looking forward to another season of getting people out of their comfort zone, appreciating the simplicity AND the huge accomplishment of hiking.
